Overview

A City-based Law Firm are looking for an experienced, deadline-driven Legal Team Secretary to join a small, supportive team of secretarial support staff who look after a team of Partners in their property division. This division looks after both residential and commercial property so previous experience in either or both areas will be greatly welcomed. Owing to the nature of the team this is a very administrative heavy role which requires a process-driven Legal Secretary with great accuracy and attention to detail. Aside the traditional administrative functions you will also be performing a substantial amount of audio and copy typing. Your responsibilities will include: Multiple diary, inbox management and scheduling appointments on behalf of the Partners Managing travel & expense requests for Partners Handling client and internal queries in a professional manner. Handling property-related administrative duties Addressing all incoming enquiries and general correspondence (emails, telephone calls) Copy and audio typing. Minute taking Scanning, filing and archiving Building strong departmental relationships Providing cover for secretaries during periods of absence Other administrative tasks as required by the team. Profile: Previous experience as an Office Administrator, Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, Team Assistant or Team Secretary Meticulous presentation at all times Previous high- volume administration experience in a regulated / professional services environment - financial services, accountancy, legal or property Exposure to working within a legal environment relating to property - either commercial or residential or both Experience of copy and audio typing. Proficient in MS Office applications Impeccable organisational, time management and problem-solving skills Maintain excellent accuracy/attention to detail at all times Able to work on own initiative whilst also working as part of a team
