You MUST have the following: Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Strong familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Excellent knowledge of infrastructure deployment products such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, OpenShift (OKD), Kubernetes (K8s), Docker and GitLab Strong Python scripting ability- writing new scripts from scratch The following is DESIRABLE, not essential: Experience working with global teams Working on in-house automation systems Role: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE DevOps Amazon Web Services AWS Terraform Ansible Puppet Jenkins OpenShift OKD Kubernetes K8s Docker GitLab Python Automation Deployment CI CD Finance Asset Management Manager Investment) required by our asset management client in London. You will be joining three other site recovery engineers in London and the US. Together they are part of a team of engineers who are developing an automated release and deployment tool, linking up Jenkins, Terraform, OpenShift (OKD), Kubernetes (K8s), Docker and GitLab to create a seamless software deployment tool. In addition to this, they are creating a 'drag and drop' AWS release product. Your role, together with the other site recovery engineers (SRE's), will be to define and build out the back end infrastructure. There are 6-8 Java developers who are creating the product itself. The site recovery engineers need to design and provide the back-end infrastructure (infrastructure as code/serverless) solution. The role will incorporate a large amount of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the use of Jenkins, OpenShift (OKD), Kubernetes (K8s), Docker and GitLab. The scripting will largely be in Python for this position, although there may be some Java too. This is an excellent opportunity to join an international company that is investing heavily in technology. They are becoming increasingly technology-driven. This is a greenfield project. Once completed, there will be opportunities for new greenfield projects. There will also be the opportunity for progression and promotion in the future.
