The role requires a detailed knowledge of highways, traffic, parking and transportation, and the ability to develop and initiate schemes from inception through to completion. A bit about the role: Ensuring that projects are managed within their respective budgets Co-ordinate the issue of invoices and ensure the clients requirements are fulfilled Preparation of proposals and estimates for new work Project managing / directing projects in accordance with Client requirements Provide technical direction on projects and high level advice on complex technical issues Contribute to the management of the Traffic Engineering and Technology Team Respond to Client and customer requests and enquiries and ensuring that their needs are met To input into marketing and business development activity for the business unit To actively sell other aspects of Project Centre to Clients To be flexible - carry out any duties as and when required for the good of the company To manage all staff under his / her department / core area effectively and encourage and motivate performance To be the Client’s primary point of contact for projects managed within their business unit A bit about you: Relevant Degree or equivalent Alternative consideration given to significant relevant experience in lieu of specified education and professional qualification Comprehensive understanding of traffic and transportation techniques, highway design and transport planning principles and a proven track record in project design and delivery Preferably conversant with and/or intermediate user of CAD design software Good understanding of traffic and highway legislation Comprehensive knowledge of relevant technical / industry / TfL standards A bit about the benefits: £45,000 - £55,000 Hours: 37.5 hours per week Continuous training and development Excellent health benefits including BUPA Yearly Professional membership of your choice Relaxed and family friendly environment Our client is a people focused organisation.
