Based in London, they run a fleet of tankers focusing on the Clean Petroleum Products (CPP) trade in West Africa (WAF) and international markets. They pride themselves on providing their clients with secure, efficient, cost-effective, and flexible transportation of refined petroleum products. Job Description In this graduate Operations Analyst job, you will be working within the Technical Services team. This team is split between the UK and India meaning you will not only be liaising with various teams onsite but also internationally. The role is incredibly varied and will be continually throwing new challenges your way. Key responsibilities In this graduate Operations Analyst job, your responsibilities will include: Monitoring, maintaining and verifying the format of various forms of Technical Reports Corresponding with Flag for annual tonnage tax receipts in liaison internally Technical gap analysis. Admin liaison on projects. Maintaining supplier contracts and agreements in consultation with the General Manager. Assisting on various technical matters as instructed by the General Manager. Other ad hoc duties Creating relevant folders to newly taken over vessels in SharePoint to be created in collaboration with Legal and IT. Monitoring vessel inspection planner and VIR log. Inform general manager on any discrepancies. Refer to appendix 34. Maintaining records of critical defects sent weekly by fleet managers and head of marine operations every Saturday to general manager. Job Requirements At least a 2:1 from a top University Previous experience in shipping desirable but not essential At least 6 months experience in an office environment in a similar position Motivated by a fast-paced and dynamic work environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Other soft skills - self-starter, pro-active, energy/drive, open-minded, flexible, can work independently Problem-solving and the ability to work creatively Managing deadlines and varied projects Organized Attention to detail Benefits of the job A highly competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 Access to a company pension scheme and private health care Smart offices in the heart of Central London Plenty of opportunity for progression and development within a quickly expanding business.
