Overview
AJ Chambers are working with a flexible, family friendly independent accountancy firm who are looking to appoint a Senior Accountant in Huntingdon. Our client is growing due to the nature of their high net worth client base and is keen to bring on board a qualified accountant to facilitate this growth. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of professionalism, technical excellence, and commitment to the highest standard. The role is mainly Accounts and Bookkeeping with a small amount of Tax. The remuneration package will be £34,000 - £39,000 dependent on experience. Senior Accountant Responsibilities: Preparation of accounts for sole traders and partnerships and some limited companies Bookkeeping duties on Xero Client management Discussing and resolving accounts queries with clients Reviewing VAT work as required Attending client meetings Accounts management Some tax planning and tax compliance The Ideal Candidate: 3 Years’ Experience Strong knowledge Xero is ideal but not essential General Practice experience ACA/ACCA Qualified Excellent communication skills If you are interested in this Senior Accountant role please apply direct, or contact Natasha Horner at AJ Chambers.
