We are recruiting for a Senior Immunoassay Scientist at Covance based at Alconbury, Cambridgeshire,where you can play an essential part in making this happen. Working as part of our growing Immunology and Immunotoxicology (I&I) department, you will undertake routine analysis of pre-clinical and clinical samples for the Immunoassay section. Conduct analytical method validation and assist in analytical method development. Check analytical data, coordinate equipment maintenance and servicing and be involved in the training of junior staff. Responsibilities will include: * Manage the day-to-day tasks of laboratory organisation including the ensuring the laboratory calibration checks andreagent ordering * Develop a thorough working knowledge of all immunoassay analytical techniques such asELISA, MSD, GYROS and Luminex * Assist in the development or improvement of analytical methodology under the guidance of more senior scientists If you are looking for a role where you can use your experience whilst receiving first class training and have the opportunity to develop and progress, then we would like to hear from you! Education/Qualifications: Degree relevant to Immunology and Immunotoxicology Experience: * Be working or have worked as ananalyst with immunoassay or immunochemistry * Attention to detail and used to working to tight deadlines * Have worked within a similar scientific company/laboratory and/or GXP environment * Experience or knowledge of general antibodies/immunoassays (non cell based)/PK ADA Employment Type: Full Time
