Overview
We and one of our key technology partners have recently been awarded a high profile, long term transformation programme to deliver new and innovative applications relating to forensics investigations and they require a Vue.JS Javascript Developer to join the team on a contract basis. It’s an exciting and industry-changing project The programme requires a wide range of technical expertise to help build the secure applications and will change the way the governments forensic capability can incorporate software solutions. The role will be based in-between Reading and Basingstoke (RG7) onsite with the partner programme delivery team. This will be a contract Frontend Developer role, to start ASAP, flexible working hours and there is free parking onsite. There is only a 1 stage interview process and our partner moves very quickly with making decisions. Initial contract 6 months strong likelihood of extension. The successful Front End Developer will join a diverse and active environment developing products across a range of disciplines including case management mobile applications. Front End Developer role will involve: Design, develop & deliver application functionality Produce formal code specifications and other documentation Participate in design and code reviews Carry out technical presentations to other staff Assist in customer meetings and pre-sales activities Technical Skills: Core Skills: Web Applications: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ( Vue.JS) Demonstrates high quality UI presentation skills with well thought out UX design Desirable Skills: Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and build tools (Webpack, npm, et al.)
