Multi Skilled Engineer - Woking, Surrey - Temporary £14-17.29ph Our client is urgently seeking a multi skilled engineer for the offices based in Woking. Ideally you will have a basic DBS in place and be registered with the update service, however if you are successful and do not have this, one will need to be applied for. My clients facilities management team provides solutions to a wide range of both private and public sector clients. Working together to deliver outstanding results for customers and communities, their work covers all areas of facilities services from project management and compliance to assets, estates and energy management. You will undertake planned preventative maintenance, testing, repairs and we installation work covering a wide range of equipment, services, systems and buildings. Support site management in the provision of a safe and compliant maintenance service. Work safely on LV electrical systems in accordance with all statutory electrical and health and safety regulations and legislation as an Appointed Skilled Person. Carry out maintenance of HVAC equipment, plant, services and systems including undertaking inspection and testing of electrical and mechanical equipment and installations. Carry out basic fabric repairs/installations to internal/external of buildings. Diagnose faults and repair within the SLA time periods on a variety of electrical and mechanical complex equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s guidance and on site procedures. Actively participate in the operation and control of engineering planned maintenance scheme and to complete all report sheets and test certificates where necessary. Undertake any training as required to carry out the role competently and safely, in accordance with prevailing regulations and approved codes of practice. Engage in and support Skanska to create a culture of customer service and care via the IFE programme for both internal and external customers and partners. Liaise with other departments regarding maintenance issues if required. Experience and skills required: Apprenticeship/BTEC/HNC/City & Guilds Craft Certificate or equivalent. 17th/18th Edition IEE Regulation Full driving licence Experience in building maintenance and systems. Knowledge of H&S Legislation and safe working practice to include: COSHH, WAH, Asbestos Awareness, Water Hygiene & Risk Assessment. DBS Enhanced clearance is required for this role.
