Non-destructive Tester - Pay negotiable - Hockley- Day shift - Temporary-to-permanent contract - must have testing experience Pay negotiable dependant on experience Hours: Days 8:00-16:45 Monday-Thursday, 08:00-13:00pm Friday (38hrs per week) Location: Hockley - B19 Encore Personnel are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in the Hockley area. The company are an independent sub-contract metal finisher who has serviced the aerospace, defence and general engineering sectors since 1925. With 90 years of experience and technical knowledge they successfully undertake a wide variety of finishes, as well as NDT, providing a true "One stop shop" to over 400 customers throughout the UK and the rest of the world. They hold approvals from many household names, such as Rolls-Royce, BAe, Airbus, GE, Moog, Honeywell, UTC, Messier Bugatti Dowty, Meggit and many more. (in total over 28 different primes). Due to sustained growth they are now actively looking for an experienced Non Destructive Tester to work in the workshop on a temporary-to-permanent basis Benefits: Pay rate is negotiable dependant on experience Temporary-to-permanent role with overtime available paid at time and third outside normal working hours Monday-Friday, time and a half paid on Saturdays and double time paid on Sundays A clean and well maintained working environment Working as part of a close-knit team The Role: Match internal paperwork to customers' orders Check on PC the correct procedure for processing Unwrap parts and clean in Automatic cleaning machine Non-destructive testing parts through the NDT line following the company's internal procedure Examining for any flaws in material Drying parts in the oven Packing as required for next operation Signing off paperwork The Person: You must have worked as a Non-destructive Technician within a similar industry or working environment ideally within the Aerospace industry The successful candidate must be prepared to go through a period of training with the companies NDT Supervisor before sitting external exams to qualify as an NDT Penetrant & Non Destructive Operative, level 2 (approximately 200 hours of training) To be considered for this role please apply or contact Rachel on 0121 230 9991 or WANT TO WIN REWARDS?
