Overview
Responsibilities include:Harvey Nash have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Solutions Designer to join our client on an initial fixed term 24 month contract. The successful Solution Designer will play a key role in defining the overall Business and Technical Solution and assuring the quality of the new system and processes. This role will report to the Programme Delivery Manager and will write Architecture and Solution Designs, as well as provide assurance of Supplier technical solutions - ensuring solution designs are feasible, extensible and adhere to supporting design principles and standards. Key Responsibilities include: Writes key technical strategies, roadmaps, Architecture documents and solution designs ensuring that they comply to technical standards and meet business needs Responsible for assuring technical designs and deliverables (both from technical team and or suppliers) conform to the overall solution design and that they are in line with business requirements, are cost effective, and are of the highest possible standards. Responsible for the documentation and management of all technical solution designs, architecture diagrams and design plans. We are looking for you to have: Track record of successful technical leadership within a programme / project delivery environment. Capable of producing strategy, architecture and solution design documents that ensure programme deliveries meet business needs Capable of translating technical concepts between technical development, delivery management and service management disciplines Extensive and practical experience knowledge of architectural and Solution Design domains: Business, Data, Application, Infrastructure and Transition and Delivery Roadmaps This job was originally posted as www.cwjobs.co.uk/job/89948541
