A Sous Chef role is available at a One AA Rosette hotel located in Cumbria Role: A townhouse style hotel that offers its guests as well as local residents and visitors to the region high quality dining is seeking to appoint a Sous Chef.The hotel operates a grill/ steakhouse style restaurant which has an open plan kitchen with a team of eight chefs.The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with the kitchen having full autonomy on the menus to create modern, seasonal dishes that feature produce from the region.As this is a Sous Chef role you will have additional responsibilities including running the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef ensuring that you maintain the standards in place at the property. Requirements: The Head Chef is seeking a Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef role who has already been working to one AA Rosette standards in their most recent positions.Good all round cooking skills as well as team leadership abilities and the ability to remain calm in an open plan kitchen are essential for this role.
