We are excited to be recruiting Band 6 Registered Midwives to join our midwifery bank to support our highly motivated and friendly midwifery team. At Lancashire Teaching Hospitals the Maternity service has an excellent reputation for providing women with 4 options for place of birth - home, Chorley Birth Centre, Preston Birth Centre and Consultant Led Unit and we are very proud that our effort to offer this service is recognised nationally. There are two current models of midwifery care:- Midwifery led care within integrated teams working between community and the Birth Centres and Consultant led Care with rotation within the Consultant Unit. We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated Band 6 Registered Midwives to work bank shifts covering all aspects of the maternity service at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals You will work within a team to promote and provide high quality maternity care and have excellent interpersonal communication skills. In order to apply for a post you must have a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role held within the last 2 years and be NMC registered.
