Overview
A leading multi-strategy hedge fund with global offices and consistently amongst the highest hedge fund returns for investors is looking for a Data Analyst to join the COO team. This is an excellent front office opportunity to work directly with Portfolio Managers and to gain exposure to the full trading life cycle. The company has a flat structure, transparent and collaborative environment, and you will have plenty of opportunities to grow and have an important impact from day one. They are also actively engaged with various Finance communities and host/sponsor several conferences & meetups. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement innovative tools that enhance the investment process, portfolio construction, and risk management Interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses for incorporation into strategic decision-making Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement Build customized analysis and data visualizations Collaborate with Technology, Quant Coverage, and other internal functions Requirements: Excellent programming skills with Python Understanding of financial markets and instruments Strong knowledge of database technologies (SQL) Solid academic background in a STEM subject from a Top University.
