2nd Line Support Engineer required for a 3 month contract role in Eastleigh, Hampshire £15 per hour working 37 hours per week Job outline: The 2nd Line Support Engineer is responsible for providing telephone, email, and remote support to the end-user community. These requests will require the candidate to troubleshoot problems, perform training, monitor usage, and answer general questions. This role provides you the opportunity to support, maintain, and grow technology solutions. To work inline and with reference to Incident, Problem, Configuration, Change and Release management. Problem analysis provision, close liaison with Problem Management for instances where the underlying cause of an incident is not clear or requires further investigation. Endpoint management - Patching & Anti-Virus. Field site visits dependent on priority and escalation. Asset Management and recovery (client end-user computing, Inc. Blackberry devices and Teams/Telephony) Skillset: Extensive knowledge with the Microsoft ecosystem of EUC solutions and the ServiceNow platform functions and ITSM processes Knowledge of supporting and configuring Windows Server and Exchange. Expertise in configuring and customising all aspects of end user compute - desktop management, software packaging and distribution, AD Group Policy, Asset Management, Identity Lifecycle, software lifecycle management and device management Mobile device management - Policy creation and deployment for all company devices Manage VPN tokens for internal users and external vendors General hardware support (PC Hardware, PC build, printers, Switches and Firewalls) General IP networking skills (DHCP, DNS, ipconfig, etc.) If this 2nd Line Support Engineer role is of interest then please apply now.
