Overview

An exciting opportunity for a responsive, flexible and dynamic individual to lead the clinical team in the home to provide a dignified and fulfilling life for our residents. Under the direction of the home manager, you will work closely together in effective collaboration to deliver an outstanding service for the residents, and a rewarding environment for staff. The clinical lead is responsible for consistently providing the highest standard of clinical care and customer service in the home. This will include being responsible for keeping accurate records and care planning. Other responsibilities include the clinical care of our residents and providing guidance, training, appraisals and mentorship to the care team and nurses. You will understand clearly your responsibilities under the legislative requirements of the sector and in the absence of the Home Manager take charge of the day to day running of the home. More about you: The Clinical Lead position would suit a Senior Nurse looking to take the next step into a higher level clinical leadership role. You will already have some proven management and leadership experience involving older people's care. You are a highly organised, multi tasking, self starter. An effective leader & communicator, who is honest, kind and reassuring. You possess strong IT skills and embrace and lead change management positively. Cherishing the individual needs of residents and their families and putting those needs at the centre of everything you do each day is fundamental to your role. You will need a good degree of flexibility in your working pattern to incorporate some weekend, evening, night and 'on-call' duties when required.
