Overview
Our public sector client based in London require a Senior Project Manager. Please send me your latest CV for this INSIDE IR35 role Must have technical Delivery skills: (the candidate must be able to demonstrate experience in delivering these types of solutions either as a PM or as an experienced change manager) Experience of managing infrastructure projects including delivery of new and upgraded WAN services to multiple locations - knowledge of leased line, IPVPN, Fibre, ADSL a strong advantage Has delivered WAN upgrades in partnership with leased line providers - experience of working with telecommunications 3rd parties Has experience of delivering network upgrade projects across multiple customer sites - experience of multiple technology vendors Delivered IP Voice upgrade projects - successfully migrated and upgraded clients to new voice solutions Delivery of modern workplace IM and presence collaboration tools Has managed and led technical resources and co-ordinated and created project work packages Ideally has technical delivery skills and experience in the following but is not essential (ideally we want to candidate to have these skills as these are highly desirable - we should still see candidates that don't have these experiences) Knowledge of delivering Avaya IP Phone solutions - ideally Avaya Workplace Knowledge of experience of delivering multi-site Network upgrades utilising Cisco technologies - Switching and routing migrations Data centre migration projects Knowledge of security and FW appliances Must have Project Management skills: (can demonstrate these skills through their work experience and knowledge outlined in their CV) End to end project delivery experience - full lifecycle management Demonstrable experience working in an IT environment and experience of managing infrastructure projects Define project scope, goals and deliverables Prince2 certified or holds an equivalent project management qualification Agile and waterfall delivery methodology experience Full project budget ownership - can manage project spend and provide full financial forecast Experience of effective Risk and Issue Management - can demonstrate through examples of producing and managing RAID logs Can lead project activities by coordinating others to undertake the work, as well as contributing to the delivery of tasks, when relevant and appropriate Responsible for building strong stakeholder relationships Create and manage detailed project delivery plans - is proficient in using MS project, Excel Deliver project status reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations Provide reports and updates to programme board level - evidence of experience of producing, managing board update packs To actively promote best practice approaches to ensure that quality measures are built in to the project delivery and that these measures are adhered to Personal Profile: Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal Comfortable working as part of an agile delivery team Public Sector delivery experience highly desirable Experience of dependency management Experience at working both in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and independently Can effectively lead and mentor others Is self-motivated and can work without supervision Please send me your CV for immediate consideration.
