An award winning Software company based in the heart of the City, currently have a unique opportunity for a Site Reliability Engineer, to join a team of talented Specialists. The role will be mainly based on site, but will offer some remote working. The client is a technology led, database firm whose vast software is used by large institutions all across the world. The Site Reliability Engineer will be working closely with the development team, assisting in developing and maintaining one the most exciting open data projects of today. For the role, they will be looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer with a strong technical background working with Linux, MySQL and Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will possess several years’ experience working with Linux and be now looking for a role that will give the opportunity to get into DevOps. A passion for learning new technology will definitely be key for joining the vibrant team of talented engineers. Some of the key skills required for the SRE role include: Strong Linux systems administration MySQL Elasticsearch AWS Kubernetes, Docker Configuration management - Puppet or similar Scripting - Bash/Shell and Python or similar They offer a very modern and fun working environment, with plenty of benefitsand a salary between £60,000 - £70,000 per annum (depending on experience).
