Head of Engineering (Hands-On) - Go, Node.js, ML/AI Location: London, EC1V 1JB Salary: £100,000 - £120,000 Industry: E-Commerce Tech Stack: Go, Node.js, Microservices, APIs, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, AWS Great opportunity for a talented Engineer (Go, Node.js, Microservices, AWS) to join an e-commerce fulfilment startup as their Head of Engineering. The Company - Startup in central London that is founded by two technologies executives with an extraordinary record of success behind them. Between them they have been key figures in Just Eat, Amazon and Zipcar as well as UBS and JP Morgan. They have now combined to create a Fulfilment-as-a-Service platform that is entering the £400 billion European e-commerce market by providing outsourcing solutions to small and medium sized vendors. The Role - They are seeking a skilled Engineer (Go, Node.js, Microservices, AWS) to build their platform as a hands-on Head of Engineering. The successful candidate (Go, Node.js, Microservices, AWS) will be someone who wants to help build a billion-dollar business by getting their hands dirty with a greenfield platform and thrives on creating simple solutions to complex problems. You will have the responsibility to hire, grow and lead and multidisciplinary team (Go, Node.js, Microservices, AWS) as well as being involved in key business decisions and speaking to outside partners.
