Overview
Global Recruitment are looking for experienced Multi Skilled Fitters to join a nationwide client of ours on a permanent basis. The suitable candidate will need to have worked in the Quarrying / Asphalt / Plant, Concrete Industry. Pay rate - £12.50-£14 per hour (depending on experience) overtime. Shifts - 7am - 4.30pm Mon-Thursday any overtime at time and a half Saturday time and a half Sunday double time This is a Mobile Mechanical Fitting Position – UK WIDE – VAN/TOOLS, FOOD AND ACCOMIDATION PROVIDED Key Skills/Qualifications required : - Possess sound knowledge of Quarry plant repairs including, conveyors, screens, pumps and steel erection. - Ability to diagnose problems effectively and carry out necessary repairs. - Experience in servicing, maintaining and repairing fixed plant. - Good communication skills - Ability to work under own initiative or as part of a team. - Full, clean UK Driving License -Electrical Bias - Safety Quarry Passport, MEWP, Telehandler, Working at Heights, Confined Space and Abrasive Wheels trained would be an advantage.
