Nine Twenty Engineering and Manufacturing are delighted to be assisting our successful manufacturing client who are on the hunt for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities on plant machinery and engineering assets. Responsibilities Site Engineering Maintenance - Ensuring continuous and safe operation of all factory and plant equipment To ensure food safety, legality and quality requirements are met. Site and Engineering KPI's - Supporting the development, delivery and maintenance of operational procedures for all new equipment and process improvements Continuous Improvement - Evaluate, develop and improve existing practices to strengthen asset performance Maintain electronic plant maintenance records and all associated engineering documentation as required Desirable Skills or experience: Educated to HNC or HND level in electrical or mechanical discipline or time served apprenticeship with relevant experience Experience within Manufacturing / FMCG industry Diagnostic fault finding experience with good working knowledge of mechanical/electrical maintenance 17th Edition or equivalent qualified is advantageous Inspection & Testing 2391 Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation on a daily basis Understanding of PPM systems Working knowledge of Steam/ Pressure systems Working knowledge of HACCP Clear understanding of manufacturing processes Want to hear more?
