Overview
StaffCo Direct are actively recruiting for LGV1/ HGV1/ CE/ Class 1 drivers based in Milton Keynes, Wolverton. We are looking for highly motivated, flexible drivers who can take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day to day operation. The Job: - This will involve starting in Wolverton with the allocated unit. Heading to Welllingborough or Hatfield, to collect a loaded trailer - 1 store delivery or trunk to distribution centre - Occasional Distance runs - This is an on-going opportunity - Monday to Friday - AM & PM start time available What we offer: - £13.25 per hour (Days) - £14.50 per hour (Nights) - Average shift length: 10 – 12 hours approx What we are looking for: - HGV1/ LGV1 UK issued License is required (Min 2 years) - Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho - No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes) - Excellent knowledge of the UK road network - Great communication skills - Professional attitude - Customer service focused - Well-presented - Physically fit Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous upon application of this role.
