Overview
Robert Half Finance & Accounting are seeking an Assistant Project Accountant for a long term interim role with potential to go permanent within the Healthcare industry. Role The Assistant Project Accountant will report directly the the Project Finance Manager and support the Project Accountant. You will provide integral support to the organisation regarding project and commercial related accounting. You will work with a high performing national team and a small but robust local finance team of 4. The team are a talented group of people giving you the opportunity to learn and grow in a friendly and supportive work environment. Supporting the month end, budgeting process, quarterly review preparation. Project forecasting, reporting, analysis, monitoring against budget, revenue recognition and profit/cost management Business partnering with relevant stakeholders Point of contact for any project or timesheet related queries, including training project teams in the use of the timesheet module in SAP, as well as timesheet and utilisation reporting and analysis Month end duties include: preparing and posting journals; balance sheet reconciliations, raising commercial invoices and R&D grant claims, updating finance models with actuals Ensure robust financial controls are in place, including debtor management, and checking all purchasing is in line with company policy and procedure Profile The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes Prior experience in a similar project accounting or commercial management accounting role A wide variety of industry and system expertise Ability to work accurately and with a strong attention to detail Excellent excel skills Company This company are a leader in the healthcare industry and at the forefront of advancements in medical therapies. Salary & Benefits £150 - £200 per day PAYE Holiday Pay The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
