Assistant Civil Engineer Manchester £28,000-£33,000 Permanent “My client is an award winning multi-disciplinary solutions business with extensive engineering capabilities and specialist expertise in transportation and energy industries They are looking for an experience Assistant Civil Engineer to work in their growing office in Manchester. Responsibilities will include: Lead elements of design projects as directed, ensuring Client commitments are met. Undertake the duties of designer as highlighted in CDM legislation. Act as designer and checker on projects as directed. Deliver tasks to the required quality, time and budget. The ideal candidate will have: Relevant Civils degree. Membership of a relevant professional institution. Working towards professionally qualified Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status. Knowledge of safety standards and CDM regulations. Experience of civil engineering design principles and standards. Knowledge of construction principles and standards. Knowledge of working with contractors in a design and build environment.
