If the answer is yes then apply today We are currently looking for the right person to help lead a well-established team of Therapeutic Support Workers to help support the organisations young people within the residential home. This is a full-time, permanent position paying up to £11.05 per hour with additional payments for sleep-ins paid at £65.68. Responsibilities of the Senior Therapeutic Support Worker; Working alongside the Residential Home Manager to help lead the team of Therapeutic Support Workers Assisting the Residential Home Manager to create a safe, friendly and nurturing home environment for the young people Help the young people feel safe and secure at all times Enable them to start their journey in to adulthood so they life full and enriched lives Support the Residential Home Manager with rotas, staff supervisions and any other duty that may be asked of you within the terms of your employment contract Person Specification of the Senior Therapeutic Support Worker; Previous experience of working with young people and challenging behaviour is essential NVQ level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce Shift management Excellent communication skills Effective organisational management Ability to work as part of team as well as on your own Effective organisational capability Benefits to you as the Senior Therapeutic Support Worker; Access to further training courses Excellent basic salary with additional payments for sleep-ins Company pension scheme Internal progression opportunities 28 days holiday including bank holidays Don't miss out on being rewarded with amazing job satisfaction and feeling part of a community.
