Overview
Project manager - Construction. This contract role is Coventry based on an initial 6 months engagement - this will be Inside IR35 paying up to £500 per day with contractors operating via an umbrella company. The company I am representing require a Project Manager to lead and manage the PM activities in allocated work packages within a Construction environment. The primary function of the role is to oversee project performance, support balanced resource allocation and deliver targets to budget You will need to be a strong leader with excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement with significant experience in a busy projects based professional services environment with a background in Construction, Civil engineering or QS environment. Ideally you will have a QS background or be qualified in the following MCIAB, MRICS, MAPM good strong technical skills with MS Project, Excel and ideally user experience of MS Dynamics AX and MS Project Server. Experience with Projects around Facilities and Mobilisation, Construction Quality Planning (CQP ) Knowledge and or engagement with 3rd Party & Build Data discovery of offsite/modular sector. Experience of looking into supply chain capacity and capability and producing reports. Ultimately looking after the Project Management process of the above covering meetings, project planning and the deliverables, reporting and Finance management. Experience of running projects in the value of £1-£5 million This is a 6 months contract which falls Inside IR35 paying up to £500 per day based in Coventry.
