Overview

This is an overview of the role: The Help to Buy scheme seeks to stimulate demand for new homes by improving affordability. This contributes towards Homes England's delivery of 300,000 new houses per year and delivers the strategic objective of effectively delivering home ownership products and providing an industry standard service to consumers. Developer Services is responsible for management and oversight of the developer journey within the scheme from first contact with new developers to the legal completion of contracts and ongoing contract management of Help to Buy house builders. The Onboarding Team are the first point of contact for developers wishing to participate in the Help to Buy programme. The team manage and deliver the registration and onboarding process while ensuring that Homes England provide a robust process and ensure risks are appropriately managed and controlled and house builders meet all the required contractual conditions before they can participate in the programme. This role requires the ability to operate effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment to deliver this high profile programme. The ability to work effectively with the team and wider Help to Buy colleagues is essential. The successful person will be responsible for: • Manage the onboarding process with Help to Buy developers to ensure that new providers are brought into contract using standard contractual terms in line with agreed processes. • Manage the administration of the Help to Buy equity loan developer registration process ensuring information is complete and accurate. • Ensure all post contractual administration is completed effectively and efficiently and in line with agreed processes. Ensuring conditions precedent have been completed to required standards. • Dealing with day to day enquiries on the contracting process and ensuring standardised responses are provided and escalating potential issues to the Senior Manager in a timely manner. • Work with Senior Manager to ensure that contractual processes are reviewed and updated as required and in response to operational and policy changes. Ensure this is clearly communicated to the wider team.
