Customer Services Assistant Woking £20,000 - 25,000 Are you an experienced, personable and professional Customer Service Assistant that is seeking a new challenge within a growing business that is in an exciting growth stage? The Customer Services Assistant is part of a team responsible for providing first line contact for customers, assisting in the production and delivery of customer invoicing and the resolution of customer enquiries relating to services. The role of the Customer Services Assistant will be: Working within the customer services team to provide a high quality first line of contact for customers Liaising with third parties in relation to enquiries about billing and payments Handling enquiries regarding new accounts, providing assistance in setting up new supply contracts and agreements, including setting up direct debit payments Closing customer accounts including production of final bills and demands Reconciling data for customer supplies and resolution of any discrepancies Responsible for collecting and reporting "Credit Control" of sales ledger invoicing, and payments allocation from Direct Debit payments and other receipts Assisting in the satisfactory resolution of customer queries and complaints Opening new customer accounts and providing general advice on services to new customers. Identifying need for and scheduling engineer call-outs and liaising with customers Negotiating and monitoring payment plans with customers and their representatives Maintaining and updating accurate customer records in compliance with data security standards The ideal Customer Services Assistant will: Be IT literate (MS Word and Excel).
