Overview
Service Technician - Heating & Air Conditioning HVAC 10.6% employee contributory pension, 23 days holiday bank holidays Van, fuel card, uniform and mobile phone provided £30,000 - £36,000 overtime We are working with a family owned business who specialise in the design and installation of heating, ventilation & air conditioning systems, working on a variety of projects and a varied customer base, ranging from domestic customers in their homes through to large historic buildings. The company was formed in 1972 and has continued trading as a family business. They pride themselves on their quality of work, customer service and thorough approach. This is a company who really value their staff and this is proven by their long standing members. We are recruiting an experienced Service Technician to join the team on a permanent, full time basis. In this role you will work on a variety of jobs with a varied customer base: you could be repairing a gas boiler in a customer’s home, or carrying out planned maintenance work for a larger customer such as the National Trust, working on a job for an hour to a larger job that takes a week. We are looking for Service Technicians that have experience of working on a variety of jobs and who have excellent fault finding skills. To be considered the role you must be Gas Safe certified, with OFTEC certification an advantage. We also look for the following: • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Professional & polite at all times • Strong problem solving skills, able to fault find • High standards of work - efficient but thorough • Comfortable with electrics - many faults are electrical based • Excellent driving record
