Overview

Junior Software Dev | .NET, C# | IT Consultancy This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join a rapidly grown team, train alongside experienced professionals, and gain exposure to a range of technologies across front- and back-end transformation projects. You will primarily be responsible for the development and maintenance of back end services including an ASP.NET Core REST API. You will have a significant role in database and application architecture design. The role will include management of cloud infrastructure for the back end services including databases, web servers and app services. The team follows an agile/scrum development process, and you will be expected to adhere to this process when developing. Regular code reviews will take place and the candidate will have the opportunity to both give and receive feedback on code written. Responsibilities To support the Senior Architect in the design and development of software engineering solutions. Contribute to test and qualification processes. Identify issues and roadblocks and develop innovative solutions with guidance. Produce technical documentation for internal and client use. To work within a structured development team following agile methodologies. Essential Knowledge C# .NET Following experience desirable but not essential SQL, Git Knowledge of programming principles and ubiquitous development languages (Java, Python, ASP.Net, Azure or AWS). A good understanding of systems and data architecture. Used to tracing, analysing and identifying process failures (XUnit or similar) Experience of working in various size development teams.
