Overview
Sheridan Maine are currently working with a world renowned organisation based in Yate that is currently seeking a Temporary Tax and Accounts Assistant to join their thriving finance team on a 3 month basis. Our client is a reputable international business who are proud to promote a diverse workplace and promote inclusivity within their working environment. Reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager you will be supporting a large workload. The Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to; - Management of all UK credit risk - Management of the direct debit collection process - Working with customers effectively to ensure we reach solutions i.e early repayments - Daily, weekly and monthly reports relating to credit positions - Reviewing daily stock information - Assisting in preparation of tax returns for HMRC - Analysing month end accounting entries and preparing reconciliations - Cover for the Accounts Receivable Accountant and UK Tax Assistant Manager No previous experience of tax is necessary as full training will be provided Who will you be: - Previous experience in a finance function - Previous Experience in finance systems, Microsoft Navision is advantageous - Experience in Microsoft office and excel - Well organised and good communication skills - ACCA, CIMA or AAT qualified - Driver - Ability to work well in a fast paced environment - Happy to be involved with various tasks
