Overview
Principal Transport Planner vacancy Our client, an infrastructure and transport planning consultancy, are looking for a Principal Transport Planner to join their team based in Kent. For this role you would be degree qualified and have a significant amount of experience working in a similar role within a consultancy. You would have previous project and team management experience and be comfortable with client and design team liaison. You would also have good working knowledge of ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG, TRICS and Tempro. Within this role your responsibilities would include: - Providing day to day project management - Responsible for a number of project/client accounts at any given time - The delivery of planning documents including Transport Statements, Assessments, Travel Plans, Construction Traffic Management Plans, leading to outline and detailed planning applications - Contribute to all types of transport planning and multi-disciplinary projects across all sectors and clients - Providing guidance and support to junior members of the team - Client and design team liaison, preparation of fee proposals financial control of projects when acting as a project manager and undertaking business development - Responsibility for budget management, programme delivery and technical standards, and meeting QA, CDM and HSE requirements By applying for this position you are agreeing that Carrington West will hold and process your personal data in accordance with our Data Protection Policy.
