Along with representing Santander to our customers, you'll have a voice within the organisation too. As the first point of contact, you'll get to know our customers better than anyone else. What you'll be doing Helping customers each day by answering inbound calls to our contact centre Assisting customers with day-to-day transactions and enquiries Helping to keep our customers and the bank safe Solving problems and escalating issues when necessary Updating customer records What we're looking for Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor conversations to customers Ability to follow process but also think on your feet Understand and anticipate customer needs Problem solving skills (real solutions, not just short-term fixes) Ability to help as many customers as you can each day along with making each customer feel valued Desire to proactively develop your skills and apply your knowledge to be the best you can be What else you need to know We're recruiting full-time roles at 35 hours per week. That means you'll work five seven-hour rotational shifts, between the hours of operation of 8am-8pm Monday-Friday and 8am-6pm Saturday and Sunday. Colleagues will be scheduled to work post 6pm only 1 week in every 6, and scheduled to work just 2 weekend days in a 4 week rotation. You'll be working in the bustling centre of Bradford just one minute from the Bradford Interchange. There is an onsite restaurant, plus plenty of local shops, childcare options and gyms nearby. Given the recent impact of the Coronavirus outbreak we will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.
