Overview
Claims Adjuster - Accident & Health London Up to £45,000 Main Purpose To adjust Accident & Health claims, providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers at all times. Key Responsibilities Develop a thorough understanding of the underwriting and claims within the Accident & Health portfolio. Adjust claims efficiently and effectively within your authority level and in accordance with the the company's claims vision. Ensure that sufficient financial provisions, in accordance with the company's reserving philosophy, are held for all claims within your portfolio. Develop and maintain close and collaborative working relationships with your divisional Underwriters and Actuaries. Instruct and oversee Lawyers, Adjusters and experts from the panel. Ensure delegated claims are managed in accordance with the company's claims values, with effective oversight of TPAs / Service Providers via regular reporting. Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience handling Accident & Health claims. Good understanding of policy coverage, benefits and exclusions. Understanding and application of legal, regulatory and territorial issues relating to the policy wordings. Excellent communication skills.
