RSR Justice is a niche recruitment agency, who provide staffing services to organisations specialising in reducing offending by offering rehabilitation and intervention services We are working in partnership with Ormiston Families, a charitable trust, devoted to helping children and families in need. Ormiston Families’ Transforming Rehabilitation service provides a range of family support sessions to ex-offenders and their families across the East of England. Working with families by offering prevention and early intervention, leads to the people living safer, healthier and more resilient lives. To help deliver this vital service we are looking to recruit a full time Senior Family Support worker for the Norfolk and Suffolk region As a Senior Family Support Worker, You will be responsible for delivering an agreed programme of group work and one-to-one interventions with adult offenders to address their family, parenting and relationship needs. You will also supervise a small team of family support workers and volunteers working at different locations in Norfolk and Suffolk. The recruitment process is open to anyone that has previously worked in the criminal justice sector and is open to probation service officer or police officers looking for a new challenge. Key skills and experience You will have a qualification and/or experience within the Criminal Justice or Probation service particularly with children and/or families. Experience of providing professional practice supervision to staff delivering front line services to people with complex needs. Evidence and skills in both facilitating and leading both one to one and group work programmes to affect emotional, social and behavioural changes. Experience of undertaking risk assessments and risk management planning. Practical experience of Safeguarding, Child Protection and PREVENT policy Experience of responding to and implementing quality assurance and performance management frameworks.
