Private Client / Conveyancing Solicitor
Overview
Are you an ambitious private client or conveyancing solicitor who is looking for a new opportunity? If so, our client is seeking a solicitor to join the team in Elgin. Some travel to a near by office might be required. Your role will involve a wide variety of caseloads split between private client matters and conveyancing. This will include (but will not be limited to) handling the ongoing administrative aspects of Lifetime Discretionary Trusts, advising on relevant tax implications, engaging with local authorities on relevant matters and checking draft Wills and Powers of Attorney. Sale and purchase transactions, re-mortgages, transfer of title, concluding missives and ensuring that clients’ expectations are met at all times will also be covered. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a mixed caseload within a small bit supportive firm with a family feel. To be considered for this solicitor opportunity, you will ideally have relevant private client experience and/ or conveyancing experience. Both are not essential as full training will be provided. You will be either newly qualified or around the 3 PQE mark. The firm will offer excellent ongoing training and progression as well as a competitive salary and benefits package.
