Overview

We are working with a top tier, market leading firm within the healthcare sector who are looking to further their growth by recruiting an additional lawyer to join their Inquests and Advisory team in London. The firm is a member of NHS Resolution's panel of lawyers and the team is recognised nationally for the work they undertake. The role will involve being a vital member of their expanding and highly regarded inquests and advisory team. The successful candidate will need to be a confident solicitor with upwards of 2 years' PQE and experienced advocate with strong personal presence in court. The majority of the work will be inquest focused but there will be opportunities to be involved in advisory work regarding regulatory matters, public law issues, judicial reviews, court of protection matters, mental health issues, consent and confidentiality, information law and clinical risk management. Along with being a confident individual with advocacy experience and a strong presence in court, the successful individual is also likely to be self-motivated and dynamic in order to develop skills to build relationships with senior officers of the firm's clients. It is also ideal that advocacy experience will have been gained within a leading healthcare practice, but some experienced advocates without healthcare experience will be considered. The successful candidate will join a market leading team and work alongside notable practitioners in the healthcare advisory and inquests sector. Whilst a high level of autonomy will be facilitated, excellent supervision will be on hand wherever required.
