Position : Pension Transfer Specialist Location : Bristol Minimum Requirements : Experienced in reviewing/advising on suitability of pension transfers, including DB. Level 4 qualified, CF30 (or formerly CF30). Plus an advanced pensions qualification: G60, AF3 or AF7. This vastly successful nationwide business, which is almost 20 years old, is currently on course to become a FTSE 100 company inside the next 5 years. THE ROLE The Pension Transfer Specialist role’s purpose is to provide personal recommendations to retail investment clients in respect of pension schemes with safeguarded benefits. The role is office-based and involves working in conjunction with our team of field-based advisers. The Pension Transfer Specialist’s key duties include: Review of transferring pension scheme information, carry out relevant analysis (including completing cash flow modelling to demonstrate sustainability, when relevant) and reviewing risk profiles of clients Identify outstanding pension information as required Ensure all client information and facts are up to date for analysis to be undertaken Provide a personal recommendation in relation to pension transfers Prepare client reports in relation to pension transfers, pension switches and retirement income options Liaise with Advisers and keep up to date of progress and any outstanding requirements Liaise with ceding pension schemes/providers to obtain pension information as required REQUIREMENTS Candidates interested in the Pension Transfer Specialist vacancy will have the following criteria: Strong pension and investment knowledge Experience in providing pension transfer advice (including defined benefit schemes) and carrying out appropriate analysis, including cash flow CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent CF30 (or previously CF30) Certificate in Pension Transfer Advice or equivalent Advanced pension related qualifications e.g. G60, AF3 or AF7 REMUNERATION / PACKAGE The package for the Pension Transfer Specialist role is as follows: Competitive salary of between £50,000 & £70,000 Bonus Pension Healthcare 25 days annual leave Various other benefits Next steps: If you are happy to apply for this position, please click on the Apply button and attach an updated copy of your CV.
