Overview
Due to continued growth within the business an opportunity has arisen for a credit controller to join a busy and expanding finance team on a 3-6 month FTC.You will assist the team with reducing the outstanding company debt while at the same time offering a high level of customer service to their clients and ensuring the team targets are achieved. Description As a credit controller you will be reporting into the credit manager, your responsibilities will include but not limited to: Proactively chasing outstanding payment via telephone ensuring monies are paid within the payment terms Manage direct debit returns ensure repayment is made Building client relationships Resolving any account or invoicing queries Bank reconciliations Using credit reference agencies to review customer credit limits Manage unallocated cash on customer accounts Monthly ledger review and reporting on all bad debt Profile For this position the best suited credit control candidate will have the following experience: Previous credit control experience - Essential Strong communication skills both written and verbal - Essential Ability to work on own initiative and as apart of a team - Essential Experience of managing and maintaining customer credit limits - Essential Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills - Essential Previous experience of working within a fast paced environment - Essential Escalating and resolving customer invoice disputes - Essential Experience of using credit reference agencies - Essential Good IT and excel skills - Essential Job Offer On offer for the successful candidate is a salary between £19-£21k DOE.
