I am currently recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis. This is working for a Marketing company based in East London close to Shoreditch station. Sector: Media& agency Client Details My client is a marketing company based in East London. They were established couple of years ago and since have grown consistently year on year. They are now looking to hire an Assistant Management Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis. This will be an initial temporary assignment for 6 months. The role will be based in their offices in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast paced, dynamic working environment. Description Assistant Management Accountant, East London Roles and Duties: Working closely with our Finance Manager, you will be tasked with a diverse range of responsibilities all designed to help maintain the smooth running of our finance function. You will be assisting across our day-to-day financial operations working on financial planning and budgeting, as well as looking at cost reduction and procurement. Responsibilities will include closing the monthly accounts Preparing quarterly VAT returns and looking after accounts payable and receivable Our Finance Manager will also look to you for assistance with month-end accounts preparation and together you will ensure internal processes are maintained effectively You will also interact closely with our existing and future clients and provide assistance on any relevant financial queries Profile The successful candidate MUST be immediately available and can interview / start at short notice. Have at least 2 years of relevant experience, either in industry or an accountancy practice Part qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification or already be AAT qualified Exceptionally organised and process driven organised and can effectively manage your time across a number of continuously evolving priorities work well under pressure and deliver against deadlines Excellent eye for detail Proactively analytical You are logical in the way you like to work and can approach any challenges with a fresh and focused mindset Relentless learner You will have a desire to continuously learn and progress within your role This role offers the scope to build on your existing strengths and really make an impact, so we are looking for someone who is passionate about personal development Job Offer The successful candidate will be paid between £14-16 per hour depending on experience.
