Success Recruit are currently working with a professional services company based in the City of London who are looking for an operations manager to join the team. This is a newly created position and will be integral for the continued growth and development of this business to ensure it is operating at maximum capacity from an efficiency, time and profitable perspective. The successful Operations Manager will be expected to: Have strong communication and negotiation skills Be able to inspire, influence and motivate others Be an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills The successful Operations Manager will be rewarded with: Working for a well-respected industry provider Being part of a long standing and friendly experienced team An opportunity to develop others and be an integral support to the MD Excellent benefits package and central City of London location Purpose of the Role The purpose of the operational manager is to manage the support function daily focusing on HR, marketing, IT, finance and service. You will work closely with the founder & MD who has exceptional technical industry experience and strategically manages the business on a day to day basis. This operational role is pivotal to allowing the MD to focus on supporting continued growth and business development. Duties to include but not limited to: Overseeing all operational procedures to include but not exclusive to HR, finance, IT, internal communications. Oversee HR support to include sickness, holidays, recruitment and new polices within the business & working closely with external HR consultancy Review and refine processes to improve efficiency Mentor operational staff to support them with personal development & ensuring maximum output is achieved Liaising with 3rd parties and building strong relationships Renewing internal policies and ensuring best prices are obtained Collating information for quarterly board reviews and ensuring it is prepared within time Supporting with cash in and out, chasing payments and ensuring any problems are bought to the MD’s attention in adequate time frames. Ad hoc admin support that could include supporting the organisation of Christmas parties and staff/client events This is an excellent opportunity for someone to establish themselves within a growing company and be part of an exciting journey. Previous operations experience is essential for the successful candidate to be able to demonstrate on how they have implemented new systems, reduced costs and times for business to operate efficiently always. Hours: Monday to Friday - 09.00am - 5.00pm Salary: £40k - £60k DOE excellent benefit package to include, private healthcare, pension and death in service.
