Role: MS Power BI Developer Location: Doncaster – local candidates preferred Duration: 6 month contract Rates: Negotiable/Market Rate Essential Skills & Experience: • Required programs/systems: Power BI, SQL Server & Microsoft Excel • Established experienced in data analysis and design • Hands-on development and delivery of business-wide Power BI reporting suite • Experience in building views and tables in linked SQL servers • Experienced in building models using Power BI desktop • Develop, publish, schedule reports and dashboards to meet business requirements • Stakeholder management experience • Experience coaching and mentoring other team members Responsibilities: • Lead the build of an entire reporting suite on Power BI, ensuring reports and dashboards are clear, accurate and answering business questions. • Work with key stakeholders in the business to grasp what is needed in regular reporting and how we can translate this into the platform. • Work with existing data models and database, and be responsible for building views and tables in linking one system to another. • Creatively envision the data models and design user-friendly data visualizations. • Ensure quality through adherence to technical best practices, including ad hoc, unofficial mentorship and feedback. • Coach and mentor internal resource in the development and management of the Power BI reporting suite If you are interested in this role please send me your most up to date word CV that details all experience relevant to the role in the first instance.
