Overview

Riverside have a new opportunity for a Service Manager, working part-time, on a permanent basis. Who you’ll be helping The post will cover the below 2 schemes based in Haverhill, Suffolk Cangle Foyer Cangle Foyer provides supported housing for young people aged 16-to-25 who are homeless and vulnerable. Our services help young people, as well as young parents, with housing related support in addition to help and advice around substance misuse, mental health and relationships. Coupals Court Coupals Court offers supported housing to young parents who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness, and who have housing related support needs. We offer a friendly, caring environment and work with you to develop life skills and self-esteem, alongside practical support to move on to independent living. What will you do? You will be responsible for the operational management of a service or group of services; within a supported housing and/or retirement living setting. Effectively manage a team to provide a high quality customer focused service, ensuring delivery of legislative and contractual performance requirements. Day to day Your key responsibilities as a Cangle Foyer and Coupals Court Service Manager will include: •Manage the services/s to provide a high quality, customer focused service and be a champion of Riverside Service Style. •Provide motivational leadership, mentoring and coaching to the team, to ensure clarity of direction, effective communication and development of personal potential. •Manage team performance to deliver outstanding service, by reviewing work outputs, appraising individual performance and setting improvement targets. •Ensure that the service meets its internal performance targets and any contract specific targets. •Ensure that the service is compliant with all Riverside policies and procedures, legislative and contractual requirements. You will have experience working within a housing and/or support environment and working with vulnerable customers.
