Group FP&A Manager Warrington £45,000 - £50,000 pa Reward Structure An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our Finance Team in Warrington. PURPOSE OF A GROUP FP&A MANAGER: Supporting the Group Head of FP&A, the successful candidate will be analytical, proactive and able to think outside the box, to support the business in delivering its strategic objectives. You will have the ability to work with non-finance managers, build relationships and influence decisions. Moreover, you will be passionate about the positive impact that good financial information and insight can make to a company's achievement. You will possess excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment as we grow, scale and optimise for success. The strategic plans for the Group mean the right candidate will have future opportunities for career development. GROUP FP&A MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide robust financial support to manage and improve profitability across the Group Become a key player in helping the team transform current processes, procedures and management reporting Monitor and analyse trends in revenue, margin and customer profitability, recommending appropriate action plans Oversee preparation and interpretation of commercial KPI's Pivotal contact between the Commercial team and the Finance team to ensure accuracy of revenue Build relationships with all departments, and work with department heads to identify projects through which commercial finance can support and add value Own the Group Budgeting and Rolling Forecast model Financial modelling of new business cases and building new revenue models Preparing and presenting alternative commercial options and scenarios Support the forecasting, budgeting and strategic decision-making processes Support month end process (c. 3 days per month) Support the business in developing an appropriate MI system to provide appropriate analysis for decision making KEY ATTRIBUTES WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN OUR GROUP FP&A MANAGER: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant Be commercially astute Detail orientated with strong analytical skills Exceptional communication skills Self-starting and able to identify value- add opportunities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines Advanced Excel skills (experience of MS Power BI an advantage) Advanced numeracy, including ability to model scenarios and sensitivities Industry experience is not a necessity for this role and we welcome applicants from all sectors and/or a Big 4 background.
