Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity that has arisen within HUB to become a Lean Business Analyst. The main purpose of this role is to support the Lean Efficiency Practitioner to deliver the change programme and support continuous improvement by working in collaboration with functional and operational areas. The role supports the delivery of strategic priorities ‘Transform how we work’ and ‘Improve our Capital Position’. Specifically by supporting process mapping, simplification and identifying opportunities for optimisation. Day to day as an LBA · Assisting Lean Efficiency Practitioner and stakeholders to identify and define improvement opportunities · Analysing processes and making recommendations to resolve business problems · Developing and embedding process ownership and process management, providing the tools via a Business Process Management System. · Support improvement projects end to end from the definition of scope through to conclusion using appropriate Lean methodologies by managing stakeholders · Supporting business change initiatives to deliver benefit and service improvements · Establishing measurement criteria to monitor process efficiency and effectiveness · Working as part of the overall Change team to leverage synergies and maximise impact across the business. · Supporting delivery of Lean workshops and capability programme. · Preparing and delivering presentations/communications for the Change team. · Supporting continuous improvement activity such as responding to queries, ongoing capacity measurement and reporting · Ensure all process changes are correctly reflected in Enlighten (Activities, Processes and Hierarchy) · Support Enlighten Business Champion – Head of Operations and Managers – drive performance and continuous improvement. Skills we are looking for Required:- · Degree or professional qualification · MS Office skills in Excel, Project, Visio and PowerPoint · Great attention to detail · Excellent organisation, planning and project management skills · Ability to demonstrate confidence in facilitating workshops and participating in meetings with business stakeholders · Experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity · Ability to quickly develop understanding of end to end business processes · Ability to support the development of a continuous improvement culture, including training and coaching people in Lean thinking · A confident communicator and creative problem solver. · Willingness to learn and continuously improve Desirable:- · Lean Certified · Business Analyst Certified · Experience of project methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2) Where we are Our Belfast office is based on the corner of Ormeau Road and McClure Street, in the centre of Belfast. The nearest train stations are Botanic (3 minute walk) and Central (10 minute walk). There is also free street parking along McClure Street.
