About the Team: The Outwards Reinsurance Analytics team is responsible for the analysis and placement of outwards reinsurance treaty programmes within Liberty Specialty Markets. The team contributes to business planning, capital requirement evaluation, exposure management and regulatory reporting. The team works closely with LSM Executives, Underwriters, Claims, Finance and Operations functions to ensure a seamless and co-ordinated approach throughout all of its activities. About the Role: Build a repeatable and efficient process to collate the information required for the reinsurance treaty placements. The data submission includes policy listings, profiles, loss information and other financial information. Specialist policy details such as Estimated Maximum Loss (EML) or Probable Maximum Loss (PML), Construction Maintenance flags and other metrics need to be linked into the data submission report from various Global LSM UW platforms and systems. The treaty placement information also requires the development or improvement of processes, such as Application of facultative reinsurance or other inuring reinsurance structures to the policy and profile information, Assist OWRI to create high-quality exhibits and reports that facilitate the analysis of the reinsurance treaty placement information, such as treaty exposure analysis and analysis of change. Ensure appropriate reports are developed and maintained to assist reinsurance monitoring. The reports include monitoring of FAC RI spend, assessment of RI treaty performance, monitoring Credit Risk exposure,reinsurance collateral monitoring, monitoring of treaty exhaustion metrics. Keep the OWRI team informed of any MI or data related changes in the business that may impact the current processes and reports. Maintain the processes and reports accordingly. Work closely with the team and be proactive in identifying opportunities for efficiencies or streamlined processes What the ideal candidate will have: Strong planning and organisational skills High level of attention to detail Ability to develop and maintain efficient processes Advanced SQL Advanced Excel Experience of producing reports/visualisations – ideally in SSRS &or Power BI Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with various departments within Global LSM and GRS. Ability to forge excellent client relationships throughout all levels of the organisation.
