Electrical Equipment Technician Requirements CRB/DBS check essential (you must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check, we can help with the process) Current UK driving licence City and Guilds Certificate in Electronic/ Electrical engineering or its Equivalent. City and Guilds Certificate 2377/ 022 –Inspection & Testing Of Electrical Equipment, or its equivalent Key Role Descriptors: The role holder will work as part of a team providing a high quality equipment maintenance service for across Manchester. The role holder will undertake visits to customer’s homes to maintain and repair equipment supplied by the Community Equipment Service. The role holder will undertake testing of equipment in line with the In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (I.E.E) code of practice. Key Role Accountabilities: Carry out repairs and maintenance of equipment in customer’s homes and at set locations. Monitor, review and evaluate equipment as required, to assist in determining suitable adjustments to ensure customer needs. Maintain accurate records both manually and electronically to ensure service performance and efficiency.
