Overview

A business services orientated company requires a Group Reporting Manager to join their growing finance team. This is a permanent role based in the head office in the City Of London. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic, rewarding and challenging environment. Role Responsibilities - Production of interim and year-end plc accounts Production of local entity statutory accounts or management of outsourced parties to ensure production on timely basis Act as first point of contact for all IFRS related queries Production of technical accounting manual and ownership, ensuring up to date and adjusted for new standards Identify, facilitate and implement process improvement ideas to improve process efficiencies Lead the group and entities audit - liaise with auditors, tax authorities and regulatory authorities as required for plc accounts and local entity accounts Production of monthly and quarterly bank reports Produce and own rolling 12 month cash flow forecast Produce 3-year cash flow plan in conjunction with FP&A team Perform month end review of actual cash v forecast with commentaries with view to improving accuracy of future forecasts Highlight working capital opportunities and work with senior stakeholders to manage cash targets Work with FP&A team to understand monthly P&L: and Balance sheet movement Take ownership and act as first point of contact for all costs (share based payments, exceptional, FX etc.) including reporting of actuals, forecasting and budgeting Work with other finance team members and business to identify reporting improvements, efficiencies Ad hoc work as and when assigned by senior management Candidate Requirements - ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified (or equivalent) Candidates with an Accounting Practice background are encouraged to apply however this is not essential Previous service based industry experience would be beneficial Ability to challenge the status quo and drive performance Strong IFRS knowledge Fantastic communication skills with a track record of communicating to senior stakeholders Ambitious and career driven Excellent team performance management and on-the-job coaching skills Strong technical finance, accounting and taxation knowledge
