Senior Data Analyst, based in Cardiff. Up to £45K plus benefits A job opportunity has a risen for a Senior Data Analyst who is looking for a new and exciting challenge. We are currently recruiting for a SQL developer with experience working with a cloud platform, preferably Azure. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be working with a team of data experts and will be responsible for fully automating a new cloud data platform as well as maintaining their existing solution. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for the chance to expand their knowledge of different data technologies and explore new capabilities including big data and artificial intelligence. You will be responsible for building the infrastructure required for extraction, transformation and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources, including third-party providers and their existing Azure platform. Furthermore, you will be responsible for identifying, designing and implementing internal process improvements ie. automating manual processes, optimising data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater stability etc. A successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following experience; Use of tools such as VSTS (Azure DevOps) Designing, writing and iterating code from prototype to production-ready - sound understanding of security, accessibility and version control Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL / ELT and reporting / analytic tools. Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data modelling A passion for data, cloud-based services and customer experience Knowledge of Kimball design Ensuring risks associated with deployment are adequately understood and documented Desirable Skills: Experience with code versioning systems (eg.
