Specialty Insurer is recruiting for a Conduct Risk Officer for a newly created role. Your new company You'll be working for a busy and growing speciality insurer who operate on an international scale. Your new role This is a newly created role, due to the growth of the business. This is a first line of defence role focusing closely on the development of internal controls and development of conduct risk. You'll work closely with the business to ensure that it is operating in a compliant manner. You'll advise the business on conduct matters, review policy documentation, enhancing the product governance frameworks and supporting the product oversight group. You'll work closely with underwriters, quality assurance, compliance & legal. What you'll need to succeed You'll need a strong understanding of conduct risk principles and the ability to influence key stakeholders in order to operate within underwriting standards and facilitate business. Specialty insurance experience is very much preferred, but if you have the right skill-set we are happy to consider people from commercial insurance or alternatively from the wider financial services markets.
