STEM Recruitment Solutions have a superb opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to work with their client in the Edinburgh area. The job involves providing a maintenance and repair service for the companies' equipment and facility, dealing with breakdowns, planned preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment. You will perform a very wide variety of engineering tasks across the whole business, turning your hand to whatever issue comes across your path. The role requires an ability to resolve a variety of issues so a flexible approach and inquisitive mind are required to find solutions to the challenges this role will throw up. You will also be responsible for several other tasks including Training of staff Equipment maintenance EHS compliance Providing out of hours support on occasion Ensure compliance with GMP standards Initiate improvements to processes and procedures Undertaking a training and development plan The role would suit someone with a proven track record in maintenance of facilities or manufacturing equipment or ideally both. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to resolve issues and show perseverance in your work to get the desired results. Ideally you will have worked to GMP standards and have experience of boilers, HVAC, Autoclaves and cleanrooms.
